We value our relationships with both public and private schools, as we share a common goal of helping children and adolescents achieve their academic potential.

Often a physician or parent will seek our assistance regarding difficulties a child is having academically, emotionally, or behaviorally. Our evaluations are comprehensive, as we seek to understand the child’s functioning in all key domains of life, including academics. At the request of the parent, we are happy to speak with school representatives to discuss our findings and recommendations, so that this information may be used in conjunction with the school’s information in planning a child’s IEP (Individual Educational Plan). This discussion may occur at an ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meeting or at a more informal conference.

At the request of the schools, we may arrange a pro-bono phone consultation to assist teachers or other school personnel in gaining a greater understanding of various issues pertinent to children. These issues include ADHD, learning disability, developmental disabilities, or other emotional/behavioral concerns.
